Holst Birthday Concert

The Holst Birthplace Museum in Cheltenham is in the house where the famous composer, Gustav Holst, was born on 21 September 1874. Every year the Trustees mark the anniversary of his birth with a special concert and, in 2016, they are delighted to collaborate with the Cheltenham Chamber Orchestra for this event. The programme provides a rare opportunity to hear Holst's Double Violin Concerto as well as two of his more familiar orchestral works.
